About Fi’s Creative Creations
The Business
Fi's Creative Creations is a small handmade business based in South Wales. We have been running for 5 years and are excited with the growth we see year on year. We have made lots of different items since we began, the main now being crocheted items specifically our fluffy toys. After using Etsy, instagram and facebook we thought it was perfect time to set up our website again to showcase everything we have on offer in one place.
Most weekends you will find us at crafts fairs or events throughout South Wales with lots of what we sell on offer. We love supporting other small business and these events are the perfect time to network and meet lots of other businesses. We love doing family fun days in the summer and are looking forward to our first full year of Christmas fairs and events.
The Team
Me- Fiona
I'm Fiona and I'm the owner of Fi's Creative Creations. I'm 23 years old and I love having my own small business as I love the freedom of being able to create what I want. I love to crochet and began originally as a way to help with anxiety and stress from school. I taught myself to crochet from youtube videos and facebook groups when I was 18 and I now enjoy trying more complex patterns and yarn. As well as putting my own signature on everything I make.
I love rainbow colours so you will find a lot of makes on my stall and website in rainbow colours. I have also updated my logo and brand colours to represent this. I also love Christmas and always have so many ideas on what to make although, I will admit that I often wait a bit to late to make them.
My Sister- Elinor
My sister plays a big part in helping my business. Not only does she help by driving me to and helping out a craft fairs, I have recently taught her how to crochet and she has started to help me with things for my stall. I am so proud with how quick she has picked it all up and the end products that she makes are fabulous. She has loads of ideas for my business and I definitely wouldn't be where I am now without her.
My Parents- Jan & Andrew
Another person who helps me out especially with craft fairs and lifts everywhere is my Dad!! If you come to a craft fair you may see him behind my stall or checking to see how things are set out. He is always helping with the heavy lifting and other mechanical things that I would have no clue about otherwise.
My Mum is definitely one of my biggest supporters! She is always buying things from me both for herself and as gifts for other people. I love how much she supports me on facebook and in real life always helping out when I don't know how to price something or if I don't think something looks right.
